The City of La Palma is seeking experienced Police Officers to work a combination of 3/12 and 4/10 workweeks. Under the command of Chief Edward O. Ethell, the Police Department has a sworn staff of 25 Police Officers and Command Staff who are assisted by civilian non-sworn personnel. The Police Department has various assignment areas such as Patrol, Investigation, Traffic (Motors), K-9, Field Training, Administrative Support, School Resource Officer, and a Regional SWAT Team (North Orange County). La Palma is a full-service, community oriented policing department.
