The Water Division is responsible for providing La Palma’s 16,000 residents with safe, high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds all quality standards set forth by both the state and federal government. The water utilized by La Palma is primarily pumped directly from the local groundwater basin and supplemented by import water purchases from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWDSC).
